The contact page is a messaging center for blog visitors who wants to write some lines to the admin for congratulations, advices, feedbacks and so on.
Basically it's similar to comments form, but more general.

In order to protect this page (and comments, too) from spam messages is advisable to use a strong spam protection.
Whether, unfortunately, could be necessary to remove the page from the website due to continuous spam attacks, is it possible to rename the page to contact.bak and remove the link from Menu static page. (thanks to the forum user laborix for the helpful suggestion). Happy contacting
