This unofficial user's version 1.6.2 amended by Stanley - last update 23 Dec 2011
An updated version of the standard BBCode plugin, adding an attribute which will display an icon after a link, giving the reader an inline option of whether to open the link in the same window, or a new window. A detailed description of the correct syntax to use can be found at the link to the external page in the Download section below.
This version of the plugin also improves upon the standard BBCode toolbar, adding a few new buttons and a couple of icons to identify what the dropdown lists are for. The new toolbar and the syntax of the external link attribute is shown in the picture below (click to enlarge).
Download from this Wiki External page with detailed description and possibly updated download file
Note that this version includes a toolbar which REMOVES the right aligned textarea expand/reduce buttons, to make room for the new buttons and help to keep the interface neat and tidy. If you use this feature then a copy of the original toolbar is included in the zip file, named toolbar.old. Simply rename this to “toolbar.tpl” to restore this version instead. You may need to work out the best layout to use if you want to add the new buttons into the original version of the toolbar.

SUGGESTION By Marcoverga86: What about modifying this plugin to make it a “general” countdown? I mean, I can set a date and this plugin shows the countdown to that date…
Allows user to choose the date of publication of posts (only on creation!).
(by MarcoVerga86
This plugin is outdated. It won't work with FlatPress 1.0 and later. — Edoardo Vacchi 2012/04/09 04:09
Plugin updated to version 2.1: following NWM's suggestionthe plugin now honors the timezone settings!
The modified version includes a calendar which shows up and lets you select the date of the post. The time field uses a RegExp to validate the value in the textbox… Only time in the format H:MM:SS or HH:MM:SS are allowed, and only “correct times” (00:00:00 to 23:59:59) are accepted; if the value in the textbox doesn't match the RegExp the focus stays on the textbox! :)
The calendar shows info by default in english. If you want to display months and day in another language just open the file calendar.js and (at line 53) change “en” to whatever you like.
Possible values are en,ge,nl,es,fr,da,it. If your language is not present in the file just add it inside the file, following the guidelines of the other languages.
These download are left here for historical reasons. Please use this non-alternate plugin — Edoardo Vacchi 2012/05/17 06:23

FeedControl Plugin by Vasily Polovnyov and NoWhereMan
This plugin allows you to change the default RSS/Atom feed URLs to a custom URLs (FeedBurner, …)
Highlight.js plugin by Vasily Polovnyov
Flatpress highlight.js integration. All js are minimized with yui compressor. Contains all original style themes.
Highlight.js highlights syntax in code examples on blogs, forums and in fact on any web pages.
It’s very easy to use because it works automatically: finds blocks of code, detects a language, highlights it.
This is not only convenient but also allows highlighting for code examples marked up with writing syntaxes like Markdown where there is no way to specify HTML class easily.
Disable bundled syntaxhighlighter plugin. Edit this two lines in plugin.highlightjs.php:
/* define languages that you actually use on your pages */ define('NEEDED_LANGUAGES', 'css html perl'); /* set theme. possible values: ascetic, dark, default, far, idea, sunburst, zenburn */ define('CSS_STYLE', 'idea');
Markdown Plugin by Vasily Polovnyov
This plugin allows you to use markdown in your posts. It uses php-markdown-extra, smartypants for typographic transformations and safeHTML for comments.
Just some important notes:
Markdown can process HTML as is. That’s why you don’t need to disable bbcode plugin. If you disable bbcode plugin FlatPress will not parse the bbcode anymore, and your entries will be full of square brackets.
It is safe to use markdown in comments, because plugin uses safeHTML to strip down all potentially dangerous content within HTML.
With this plugin you can determine whether a vistor has a font installed or not and serve special CSS…
Adds a captcha image to comments form and contact page. This is a standalone captcha generator (i.e. it does not use a 3rd party service). More details at the link above. Should work on most servers BUT it will not currently work on 110mb.com and other servers which do not have the Freetype Library installed.
IMPORTANT! Disable the accessibleantispam plugin FIRST, then enable this one or you may find that you get an error when you enable the fpcaptcha plugin.

InlinePHP Plugin by ChrisBlank. Thanks to Stanley.
Adds bbcode tag to execute PHP. Code was taken from a WP Plugin.
Place your Code between [exec] and [/exec]
Please be aware that this plugin can produce unpredictable results and should be used sparingly, if at all. Consider writing your own plugin or edit your page template file to achieve the effect you're looking for, as an alternative solution. Always test your page with inline php in a safe environment as any error in the code will crash your blog for anyone trying to access that page. Also code which works in a regular php page may not necessarily work when you add it as inline php to a FlatPress page - expect some baffling behaviour. (Plugin tested by Stanley December 2011)

Being an extension to bbcode [img], the same rules apply: external links (http://blabla) won't work (and if they will, they probably won't act as expected), images/ is a shorthand for fp-content/images/ otherwise path is assumed to be relative to the blogroot (usually /flatpress/). So

This plugin will allow you to include an entry in a static page and was designed specifically to work with entries created and maintained using Windows Live Writer. Will not work quite so well if your entry contains BBCode (other than the [more] separator, which it will hide). This plugin works particularly well in conjunction with the Hyperpage plugin. It will also let you create blockparsers from static pages which include entries, so you can update your sidebar content using Live Writer.
